The Hands. The Hearts. The Healers.
Our practitioners come from different backgrounds and bring different gifts — united by a commitment to care that goes deeper than technique. Take your time. Read. Discover. Connect.
Our Commitment to Your Wellbeing
At Lahaina Luxury Health Spa, our focus is not simply relaxation — it is recovery. Many guests arrive carrying persistent tension, stress overload, or discomfort that has not resolved with typical massage. Our approach centers on targeted compression bodywork and nervous-system regulation, helping the body release protective holding patterns and return to a more balanced state. Every session is designed to provide relief you can feel immediately and improvement that continues after you leave.
Experienced Hands, Thoughtful Care
The Practitioners
Lahaina Luxury Health Spa is guided by its founding practitioner and supported by a carefully selected team aligned in both technique and philosophy.

Kammy Hodges
Founding Practitioner
Practicing since 2007, Kammy developed a compression-based approach that restores function and relieves persistent tension patterns. Her therapeutic precision and calm, supportive presence help the nervous system settle and the body recover naturally — a philosophy that continues to guide every treatment at Lahaina Luxury Health Spa.

Stephanie Evans
Esthetician
With a natural eye for detail and a gentle technique, Stephanie delivers carefully customized facial treatments designed to restore clarity and softness to the skin. She thoughtfully selects and applies professional products to match each client’s needs, creating a polished, restorative experience from beginning to end.
Getting to Know Kammy
A little story about me begins when I was a child trading foot massages with my mom in exchange for back tickles. I grew up loving touch, taking long baths, and dreaming that one day I would live in Hawai‘i.
The day I graduated high school, I left my hometown of Arizona and began the path that would eventually lead me here. I was drawn to the islands not only for their beauty, but for the opportunity to develop my skills as a massage therapist while remaining a humble student of everything Maui has to offer. My work has always centered on balancing strength and softness — learning how to listen to the body and respond with care that is both therapeutic and restorative.
In 2008 I graduated from the Makawao School of Therapeutic Massage, where I studied under James Hackett, LMT, the school’s owner and director. Jim brings more than thirty years of experience as a massage therapist and educator and is widely respected for his work in neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, structural bodywork, and corrective movement. His deep understanding of anatomy and therapeutic technique provided a strong clinical foundation for my work as a therapist.
I was also fortunate to learn from Jeana Iwalani Naluai, a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, licensed massage therapist, and owner of Ho‘omana Spa Maui in Makawao. As a respected Kumu of traditional Lomi Lomi, Jeana shares Hawaiian healing practices that include Laʻau lapaʻau (plant medicine) and Ho‘oponopono. Her teachings helped deepen my appreciation for the cultural roots of healing in Hawai‘i and the importance of approaching bodywork with humility, respect, and intention.
During this time I was also profoundly influenced by meditation practices shared with me by Edward Pineda, a Lomi practitioner from the island of Moloka‘i. Over several months he spent time teaching me about reflection, presence, and the concept of mana — the life force that flows through all living things. Those teachings helped deepen my understanding that bodywork is not only physical technique, but also an attentive state of awareness, respect, and care for the whole person.

Over the years, I also spent many seasons working in art galleries along charming Front Street in Lahaina, surrounded by creativity and the spirit of the town’s vibrant arts community. That environment deeply inspired the way I approach my work today and ultimately influenced the creation of my signature service menu, the Œuvre Collection — treatments designed with the same thoughtful intention and layered detail found in a work of art.
In Lahaina I had the privilege of working alongside world-renowned massage therapist Mina, whom I consider an extraordinary mentor. The events surrounding the Lahaina fires in 2023 deeply shaped my perspective on community, resilience, and the importance of caring for one another.
I continue expanding my training through ongoing education, including studies in esthetics, while also maintaining my own commitment to wellness through physical therapy and regular bodywork. My experience working within high-end resort environments such as Royal Lahaina, Sheraton Black Rock, and Honua Kai helped me develop a strong understanding of luxury hospitality and the level of care guests deserve.
Maui itself is a unique blend of locals and visitors, health and luxury, tradition and renewal. Lahaina Luxury Health Spa was created to reflect the heart of that balance — offering thoughtful, restorative care in a way that honors the spirit of this place and the people who call it home.
Outside of my work, I’m deeply connected to the ocean and believe integrity is the foundation of everything we do. I consider myself a catalytic truth-teller and strive to bring honesty, care, and presence into every session and every interaction.
The treatments offered today reflect this journey — combining therapeutic precision, creative inspiration, and the quiet luxury that defines Lahaina Luxury Health Spa.
